Foam Gaskets and Foam Sealant
A gasket in many cases is key to a filter's success. Foam gaskets are used with filters to create a seal that ensures your filtration projects are uncontaminated by outside elements.
There are many materials used for gaskets. Non-reticulated polyurethane foam can be unique as a foam sealant due to its designed low permeability, adjustable firmness, ease of fabrication and ability to be laminated to the filter media itself. Foam gaskets are specifically designed to yield very efficient air and/or liquid seals.
Foam Gasket Applications
Our die-cut foam gaskets and foam seals are used in industrial pumps, piping, and marine products, as well as HVAC and appliance industries. Foam gaskets are also used as insulators for automotive applications, or for equipment access panels.
