FXI INTRODUCES SEVERAL NEW PRODUCTS AT 2010 ISPA CONFERENCE
New Foams and Concept Mattresses Are Highlights of FXI Exhibit

MEDIA, PA – March 3, 2010 – FXI, the Philadelphia area-based foam innovations company, is staging its largest presence ever at this week’s International Sleep Products Association Conference in Charlotte, NC as it debuts several new products, a variety of mattress concepts, as well as the winning sleep accessory from a student design competition FXI held in partnership with Philadelphia University’s School of Engineering & Textiles.

Eight months ago Foamex, a leading producer of innovative foam products in the bedding industry, launched itself as FXI Foamex Innovations, a new and stronger company. With a healthy balance sheet, FXI has built upon its solutions-oriented customer approach and extensive R&D capabilities to position the company for growth with its existing and new customers.

FXI’s new products at the ISPA Conference include:

• FXI Aerus: This new family of memory foams uses FXI’s patent-pending open-cell technology for cooler and more comfortable surfaces. It has now expanded into more grades for customized comfort and durability.

• FXI Activus: Reformulated to offer high resiliency and shape comforming comfort, this high energy foam features a lively feel and delivers unmatched durability.

• FXI Altus: This is the lightest and softest polyurethane foam available, FXI Altus is the ideal layer of quilting foam for enhanced luxury, softness and comfort.

In addition, FXI will exhibit the following concept mattresses as recommended constructions to its bedding customers:

• FXI Conserva: This virtually all-recycled mattress illustrates FXI’s green capabilities, proprietary technology and the forward-thinking, environmental focus of the company.

• FXI Visco: This mattress will showcase 12 different memory foams, each of a different weight, feel and recovery characteristics It demonstrates FXI’s extensive research in the memory foam arena as well as the breadth and depth of memory foams that FXI produces.

• FXI Bed in a Box: Looking for shipping, distribution and storage efficiencies? FXI’s Bed in a Box patented process allows for mattresses to be compressed for easy shipping and storage. Once unpacked, the FXI mattresses go from box to bed in an instant due to its open cell, highly breathable memory foams.

FXI is also showing the winning sleep innovation from a student design competition it held among students of Philadelphia University’s School of Engineering & Textiles. The competition, which included 12 teams comprised of graduate and undergraduate students, sought to create the next great sleep product for the retail market. The semester-long competition helped enhance the students’ education and provide hands-on industry experience, while, quite possibly, uncovering the next great sleep product innovation. The winning team, which was announced on February 18, 2010, designed a convertible mattress called AdaptwoÔ. It is a crib mattress that has the ability to grow with a child by unfolding into a twin mattress.
