John G. Johnson, Jr. has been Chairman of FXI, Inc. (the “Company”) since June 2009. From 2009 to 2011 Mr. Johnson was Chairman, President and CEO of the Company. Prior to that, Mr. Johnson was a director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Foamex International from September 2007 to June 2009 and a director and Chief Executive Officer from April 2007 to September 2007. From February 2001 to April 2007, Mr. Johnson had his own management consulting practice specializing in turnaround initiatives. Mr. Johnson served as the Non-Executive Chairman of GenTek Inc., a manufacturer of industrial components and performance chemicals from April 2003 until October 2009. From January 2004 to April 2007, Mr. Johnson was the lead director of Thermadyne Holdings Corporation (“Thermadyne”), a multi-national manufacturer of welding and cutting products, but relinquished this post to devote his time and efforts to the Company. Mr. Johnson served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Foamex from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Johnson was Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Safety-Kleen Corp., an environmental services company, from 1995 to 1997. Mr. Johnson also served as President, Chief Operating Officer and director of Safety-Kleen Corp. from 1993 to 1995. From 1982 to 1992, Mr. Johnson held several executive positions with ARCO Chemical Company, a worldwide manufacturer and marketer of propylene oxide and derivatives and other intermediate chemicals, including Senior Vice President and Director, and President of ARCO Chemical Americas, beginning in 1987. Mr. Johnson began his career with the Atlantic Richfield Company, the parent of ARCO Chemical, in 1958. Mr. Johnson holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and a M.B.A. from the LeBow College of Business of Drexel University.
John Cowles has been President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the Company since June 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Cowles was Chief Executive Officer of Touchstone Wireless, a company recognized as the leading handset repair, remanufacturer and logistics telecommunications provider in North America. Mr. Cowles is a 25-year business veteran who has held senior leadership positions at major companies – such as Kraft Foods, Campbell Soup Company, and George Weston Bakeries – and guided them to significantly improved fiscal success. Mr. Cowles has global experience with operating businesses in Asia, North America, and Latin America. He has built strong teams focused on strategic growth delivered through an efficient supply chain. Mr. Cowles holds an Engineering Degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Harold J. Earley has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since December 2008. From 2007-2008, Mr. Earley was Chief Financial Officer for Sonitrol Corporation, a leading provider of commercial security services located in Berwyn, PA. Prior to Sonitrol, Mr. Earley served as Chief Financial Officer of Celetronix International, Ltd. from 2002-2006. From 1997-2002, Mr. Earley was with Amkor Technology Inc., where he held several positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President of Finance. Earlier in his career, Mr. Earley held the position of Audit Partner with Siana Carr & O’Connor, Assistant Vice President and Assistant General Auditor with Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company after commencing a public accounting career at KPMG upon graduation from college. Mr. Earley received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Drexel University.
Vincenzo A. Bonaddio has been the Senior Vice President, Technical Products and R&D since May 2011. From May 2001 to May 2011, Mr. Bonaddio served as Senior Vice President of the Company's Technical Products Business. From June 1997 to May 2001, Mr. Bonaddio was Senior Vice President of Technology. Mr. Bonaddio has been with the Company and its affiliates for twenty-one (21) years. During his career with the Company, he has been granted over 30 patents and he has been instrumental in the development and commercialization of products based on the VPF® and SMT® Technologies. Mr. Bonaddio earned his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
Darryl M. Dunn has been Senior Vice President, Controller since May 2011. From May 2009 to May 2011, Mr. Dunn served as Vice President, Controller of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Dunn held the position of Chief Accounting Officer for Brandywine Realty Trust from 2007 to 2008 and held the position of Corporate Controller at Talk America, Inc. in 2006. Earlier in his career, Mr. Dunn held the position of Vice President Corporate Controller at Amkor Technology from 1997 to 2005, Division Controller at Intelligent Electronics from 1995 to 1997 and Public Accountant/Audit professional with KPMG from 1988 to 1995. Mr. Dunn is a certified Public Accountant and received a BS in Accounting from Widener University.
Randy Longo has been Senior Vice President, Human Resources since October 2011. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Longo served as Director, Corporate Human Resources at TE Connectivity (formerly Tyco Electronics) from October 2009 to September 2011. From August 2005 to October 2009, Mr. Longo served as Vice President, Human Resources, Aerospace and Defense Division at Ametek and from July 1998 to July 2005, Mr. Longo was Director, Human Resources at Axcelis Technologies (Formerly Eaton Corporation). Prior to 1998 Mr. Longo was in the healthcare industry. Mr. Longo received a B.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Moravian College in 1986 and an M.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1996.
David M. Minning has been Senior Vice President, Healthcare Products since March 2011. Prior to joining FXI, Mr. Minning held various management positions with Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc. from 1998 to 2011. He served in a number of positions of increasing responsibility, including roles as Executive Director, Marketing and Business Development, North America Acute Care from 2003 to 2007, Vice President, General Manager, Patient Environment from 2007 to 2008, and most recently as Vice President, Marketing & Innovation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Minning held various positions in finance and strategic planning at Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield (WellPoint). Mr. Minning received his BS/BA from Xavier University and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
Donald W. Phillips has been Executive Vice President of Automotive and Quality since June of 2008. From June 2004 to June 2008, Mr. Phillips served as Executive Vice President, Automotive products. In these roles he has successfully restructured and increased profits for the global Auto division. From May 2003 to June 2004, Mr. Phillips was a Principal of Advanced Materials Group, LLC, a company engaged as a sales representative for manufacturers in the automotive supply chain. From March 1997 to May 2003, Mr. Phillips was a Senior Account Manager in the Company's Automotive Products business unit. Mr. Phillips received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Lawrence Technological University in 1989 and is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Andrew R. Prusky has been Senior Vice President, Legal since April 2008. From August 2006 to April 2008, Mr. Prusky was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel. From November 2002 to August 2006, Mr. Prusky was Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Prusky practiced corporate and securities law at the law firm of Blank Rome LLP in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Prusky received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the Temple University School of Law.
Frederick P. Rullo has been Senior Vice President, Foam Products Business since February 2011 and is responsible for business management for the Foam Products business and sales for the Foam Products and Carpet Cushion businesses. From December of 2007 to February 2011, Mr. Rullo served as Senior Vice President, Sales. Mr. Rullo joined the Company in August 2007 as Senior Vice President of Sales, Foam Products East. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Rullo held the position of Director of Sales North America, Intermediate Chemicals for BASF from 2005 to 2007. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rullo held various management positions with Lubrizol Corporation from 1992 to 2004, most recently as Business Director North America for their Thermoplastic Polyurethane business unit. Mr. Rullo received a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and will earn his MBA from Drexel University in May 2011.
Alvaro Vaselli has been Senior Vice President and ERP Project Manager since February 2011. From December 2008 to February 2011, Mr. Vaselli served as Senior Vice President, Foam Products Business Management. From September 2007 to December 2008 Mr. Vaselli served as Senior Vice President, Global Business Development and Marketing and was Senior Vice President, Foam Products (East) Business Unit from May 2005 to September 2007. From February 2004 to May 2005, Mr. Vaselli was Senior Vice President, Bedding and was Vice President, Marketing and Sales from January 2000 to February 2004. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Vaselli spent 7 years at Lyondell/ARCO Chemical where he held the positions of Global Business Development Manager from 1996 to 1999, and Commercial Manager at their start-up operation in São Paulo, Brazil from 1992 to 1996. From 1986 to 1992, Mr. Vaselli held several positions in the Marketing and Sales areas at Dow Chemical in São Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Vaselli received a B.S. in Production and Mechanical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial (FEI) in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1987 and an MBA in Marketing from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (ESPM) in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1991.
